QUORUM CALL AT COMMENCEMENT OF SITTING

Hon. Senators, let us determine if we have a quorum although I can quite obviously see that we do not have a quorum.

I am informed that there is no quorum. I order that the Division Bell be rung.

Hon. Senators, we still have no quorum. So, I direct that the Bell be rung for another five minutes.

Hon. Senators, under Standing Order No.34 (2) , we still have no quorum. In the circumstances, the House stands adjourned until 2.30 p.m., today, Wednesday, 2nd October, 2013.
