The Member for Kuria East (Hon. Marwa Maisori, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development:- Could the Cabinet Secretary— (i) state the plans in place by the Ministry to ensure integration of educational infrastructure, such as Early Child Development Education (ECDE), primary and secondary schools within the Affordable Housing Programme? (ii) provide measures taken by the Ministry to construct modern ECDE, Primary and Secondary Schools at the completed Affordable Housing Programme sites or whether there are any plans in progress to enhance capacity of the existing nearby schools? (iii) clarify whether there is a policy mandating each Affordable Housing Programme project to include the construction of new tuition and administration facilities, along with other infrastructures in nearby public schools?
