The late Hon. Denar Joseph Hamisi was a Nominated Member of the National Assembly for the Amani National Congress (ANC) in the 13th Parliament, nominated in 2022 under Article 97(1)(c). He served on the Departmental Committee on Sports and Culture and the Select Committee on National Cohesion and Equal Opportunities. He died on 6 December 2025 in a road crash near his home in Karen.
