Data & Downloads

Most data-analysis pages export what you see. This is every machine-readable surface in one place — CSV exports, RSS feeds and sitemaps — with how often each updates and what to watch out for. Exports carry stable IDs and canonical URLs so datasets can be joined and cited across releases.

CSV downloads

Open the page behind each dataset to browse, filter and cite it — or grab the CSV directly. Legislative datasets are house-scoped, so each chamber is linked separately.

Cadence & caveats

Scope

The 13th Parliament (from September 2022). Earlier records exist in places but are not yet reconciled.

Cadence

Hansard, trackers and votes ingest nightly; roster checks run against parliament.go.ke and are stamped on the pages they verify.

Automated vs curated

Divisions marked automated are extracted from Hansard text and may be partial rolls; curated divisions are human-checked and take precedence.

OCR

Bill and report full text comes from scanned PDFs and can carry recognition errors; the original PDF is always linked.

Reuse

Published for civic reuse with attribution to Mzalendo Trust. A formal open-data licence statement is being finalised — ask us about specific uses meanwhile.
