The Member for Machakos County (Hon. Joyce Kamene, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport: - Could the Cabinet Secretary- (i) provide a report on the status of rehabilitation and improvements works along the Mlolongo-Quarry- Katani Road, which commenced on 24th February 2025 and timelines for completion of the project? (ii) clarify whether the rehabilitation and improvement works will cover the entire stretch of the road, and if so, provide the approved designs specifications, particularly those intended to ensure the durability of the road given its heavy usage by trucks? (iii) outline the plans by the Ministry, through the Kenya Urban Roads Authority, to urgently tarmac the Mwananchi-Syokimau-Katani road and Joska-Sunshine Muthwani Road and repair the Syokimau-Katani link road?
