The Member for Bahati (Hon. Irene Njoki, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) state the policy framework by Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) on registration of drones that outlines the purpose and number of drones registered within the civilian population? (ii) Clarify how effective the existing policy framework is with regard to drone regulations enforcement in terms of fines, license suspension or cancellation penalties and whether penalties have been issued in the last one year for violations? (iii) Explain the measures in place by the Ministry, through KCAA and security agencies, to address the security concerns associated with drone use in the Country in light of the recent international incidents involving drones?
