Githua Wamacukuru, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) Explain whether the Kenya Bureau of Standards approved the sale of Gascience/Gaciko, a killer liquor drink popularly sold in Kiambu County, including being hawked in dispensing thermoses, and which has been associated with numerous deaths among consumers? (ii) State the regulatory mechanism that the Ministry has put in place to curb production and sale of the said Gascience/Gaciko liquor and other illicit brews in Kiambu County and across the country?
