Patrick Munene, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) provide a comprehensive list of the assistance that has been given by Kenyan Missions Abroad to Kenyans in distress in foreign countries? (ii) disclose any impediments encountered by Kenyan Missions Abroad in providing assistance to Kenyans in distress in their respective countries? (iii) clarify whether Kenyan Missions Abroad have emergency funds for purposes of assisting Kenyans in distress in their respective nations, and if so, state the remedial measures, including legal and financial interventions, that have been put in place by the Cabinet Secretary to guarantee the effective utility of these emergency funds?
