Irene Njoki, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) clarify whether the Ministry has carried out an evaluation of the impacted roads in Bahati Constituency in light of recent rains that have caused severe damage to roadways and hampered access to residences, movement of products, and provision of services? (ii) state the strategies that have been put in place to mitigate the adverse consequences of weather vagaries on infrastructure? (iii) clarify whether the Ministry has plans to upgrade key murram roads in Bahati Constituency to bitumen standards considering that these roads are prone to damage during heavy rainfall?
