The Nominated Member (Hon. Sabina Wanjiru Chege, CBS, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Education: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) state the total number of Junior Secondary School teachers that were hired by the Teachers Service Commission and the date when these teachers officially reported to their stations? (ii) explain the steps the ministry is taking to have these teachers get paid without further delays so that they can meet their life obligations? (iii) explain why TSC is organizing training workshops for JSS teachers without offering accommodation yet the same teachers have not been paid?
