The Member for Machakos Town (Hon. Caleb M. Mule, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) provide the parameters which inform the frequency of the Inua Jamii Program deregistration of decesead beneficiaries, and registration of those who have attained the requisite age and are eligible to be beneficiaries of the program? (ii) explain the measures the Ministry has in place to ensure that newly eligible citizens including those from Machakos Town Constituency are included in the Beneficiaries’ Register? (iii) state the steps taken by the Ministry to ensure the timely disbursement of funds to beneficiaries of the Inua Jamii Program considering the hard economic times facing the country?
