Abubakar Talib, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) explain why vehicles such as Voxy, Noah, Sientas, and Probox are allowed to operate unlawfully as Public Service Vehicles (PSV) yet they are not fitted with speed governors and lack PSV insurance? (ii) explain why only one representative of the public transport operators is incorporated into the NTSA board? (iii) enumerate measures that the Ministry has instituted to address indiscipline and challenges leading to road traffic crashes, reducing the number of road traffic fatalities, ensuring efficient and sustainable enforcement, and increasing compliance with the provision of the Traffic Act and PSV Regulations?
