Approval of Dr Julius Murori Mbijiwe as Ambassador to Vatican

THAT, taking into consideration the findings of the Departmental Committee on Defence, Intelligence and Foreign Relations in its Report on the approval hearing of a nominee for appointment as the Ambassador to Vatican, the Holy See, laid on the Table of the House on Tuesday, 28th April 2026, and pursuant to the provisions of Article 132 (2) (e) of the Constitution, Section 20 (2) of the Foreign Service Act (Cap. 185E) and Sections 3 and 8 of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act (Cap. 7F), this House approves the appointment of Dr Julius Murori Mbijiwe, PhD, as the Ambassador to the Vatican, the Holy See.
