Sen. Abdalla Shakilla Mohamed

Sen. Abdalla Shakilla Mohamed is serving her first term as a nominated Senator under the Wiper Democratic Movement–Kenya. In the Senate, she is the Vice Chairperson of the Committee to Investigate the Proliferation of Religious Organisations and Circumstances Leading to the Deaths of More Than 95 People in Shakahola, Kilifi County. In addition, she serves as a member of the Senate Business Committee, the Powers and Privileges Committee, the Information, Communication and Technology Committee, and the Finance and Budget Committee. Sen. Shakilla Abdalla was the first Woman Representative for Lamu County (2013 - 2017).
