Research and Knowledge

Through Mzalendo’s strategic plan we have committed that one of intervention in realizing responsive and accountable political processes is through research. This commitment is anchored on the realization we have a key role to play in evidence generation, through involvement in formal processes of research. Research has the ability to provide the views of citizens and also give evidence to provide oversight of the government.

It is more important to note that policy and practice occur when rigorous, systematic evidence is used; and when we use evidence better will have greater policy influence and greater impact to the people of Kenya. We seek to be a hub of knowledge and evidence in democracy and governance. It is therefore the reason Mzalendo has come up with this research and Knowledge management section.
