Hon. Mwafrika Augustine Kamande is serving his first term as the Member of the National Assembly, having been elected in August 2022 to represent Roysambu Constituency, Nairobi, on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket. He does not currently serve on any formal parliamentary House committees. Despite this, he has been active in legislative work, most notably voting in favor of the Finance Bill 2023 during its second reading, and engaging with the Departmental Committee on Energy to propose amendments to energy-related regulations in October 2022.
