Sen. Chute, Mohamed

Sen. Mohamed Chute is serving his first term as the elected Senator for Marsabit County, having won the seat in the August 2022 general election under the UDA banner. In the Senate, he currently serves as the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on National Cohesion, Equal Opportunity and Regional Integration. He is also a member of the Senate Liaison Committee, the Standing Committee on Roads, Transportation and Housing, and the Standing Committee on Devolution and Intergovernmental Relations.
