Sen. Crystal Asige is serving her first term as a nominated Senator in the 13th Parliament of Kenya, having been nominated by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party in 2022 to represent persons with disabilities. In the Senate, she currently serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Committee on Labour and Social Welfare. She is also a member of the Senate Business Committee, the Committee on Roads, Transportation and Housing, and the Committee on Justice, Legal Affairs and Human Rights.
