Sen. Fatuma Dullo is the first woman to be elected consecutively to represent Isiolo County in the Senate, having secured her seat in both the 2017 and 2022 general elections. She first joined Parliament in 2013 as a nominated Senator, making the current term her third in the Senate. During the 12th Parliament, she served as the Deputy Majority Leader. She currently chairs the Senate Committee on National Security, Defence and Foreign Relations, and is a member of the Senate Business Committee, the Liaison Committee, and the County Public Accounts Committee.
