Hon. Gitari, Gachoki

Joseph Gitari Gachoki is a three‑term Member of the National Assembly, first elected to represent Kirinyaga Central in a 2011 by-election and subsequently re‑elected in the 2013 and 2022 general elections. Between 2011 and 2017, during his first two terms, he served on the Departmental Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations, the Committee on Delegated Legislation, and the Committee on Implementation. In the ongoing third term (2022–present), he has sponsored legislative initiatives such as the Land (Amendment) Bill 2024 and serves on committees aligned with his focus, including engagement with the Departmental Committee on Lands.
