Hon. Irene Nyakerario Mayaka is serving her first term as a nominated MP, having been appointed to the National Assembly in September 2022 under the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). She currently chairs the Committee on Regional Integration, a role she assumed following the formation of the 13th Parliament’s committees in March 2025.
