Sen. Kajwang' Moses Otieno

Senator Moses Otieno Kajwang’ is serving his third term as the Senator for Homa Bay County, having first been elected in a by-election in February 2015 following the passing of his brother, Gerald Otieno Kajwang’. He was re-elected in 2017 and again in 2022 on an ODM party ticket. In the Senate, he currently serves as the Chairperson of the County Public Accounts Committee and is a member of the Liaison Committee, the Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Committee, and the Roads, Transportation and Housing Committee. Senator Kajwang’ has sponsored several Bills, including the Vocational Training Bill (Senate Bills No. 3 of 2022), the County Boundaries Bill (Senate Bills No. 6 of 2023), and the Community Health Services Bill (Senate Bills No. 24 of 2023).
