William Kamket is a two-term Member of Parliament for Tiaty Constituency, having first been elected in 2017 and successfully re-elected in 2022. Between 2017 and 2020, he served as a member of the Committee on Delegated Legislation before chairing the committee between 2020 and 2022. He has also served in the Regional Integration and the Liason Committee. In August 2018, he sponsored the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill of 2017.
