Charles Kamuren is a two-term Member of Parliament, having first been elected to represent Baringo South Constituency in a by‑election in August 2018 following the passing of the former MP, and successfully retaining his seat in the 2022 general election. He has been a member of the Parliamentary Library and Broadcasting committee between 2018 and 2022 and also a member of the Departmental Committee on Sports, Culture and Tourism between 2018 and 2020.
