Naisula Lesuuda joined Parliament in 2013 as a nominated member of the Senate under The National Alliance (TNA). She is serving her second term as the Member of Parliament for Samburu West constituency, having been first elected in August 2017 and successfully re-elected in July 2025. She has served prominently on the Budget and Appropriations Committee, and sponsored the Kenya Roads (Amendment) Bill 2023 and the Public Service Internship Bill of 2022.
