The two-time Senator for Samburu County served in the Speaker's Panel in the Senate during the tenure of the 12th Parliament (2017 - 2022). Prior to joining the Senate, he served as the Speaker of the Samburu County Assembly from 2013 to 2017.
In the Senate, he currently serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Roads, Transportation and Housing Committee, and is a member of the Committee on National Security, Defence and Foreign Relations, as well as the County Public Accounts Committee.
