Hon. Mohamed Soud Machele is serving his first term as a Member of the National Assembly, having been elected in August 2022 to represent Mvita Constituency as a member of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). In July 2023, he introduced a bill to amend the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, aiming to reduce mainstream print media advertisements in favor of digital platforms.
