Sen. Mohamed Abass Sheikh

Sen. Abass Sheikh Mohamed is a first-time Senator representing Wajir County. He is the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Devolution and Intergovernmental Relations. He also serves as a member of the Liaison Committee, the Procedure and Rules Committee, and the Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. He previously served as the Member of Parliament for Wajir East Constituency in the 11th Parliament. He has sponsored the and Rescue Services Professionals Bill (Senate Bills No. 55 of 2023).
