Hon. Mohamed Abdikadir Hussein is serving his first term as a Member of the National Assembly, having been elected in August 2022 to represent Lagdera Constituency on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket. He is the Chairman of the Constitution Implementation Oversight Committee in the current 13th Parliament. In July 2023, he introduced a private Member’s Bill aimed at amending the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, proposing reduced government advertising in print media in favor of digital platforms.
