Sen. Murungi, Kathuri

Sen. Kathuri Murungi is a first‑term Senator representing Meru County, elected on August 16, 2022. On September 8, 2022, he was elected Deputy Speaker of Kenya’s Senate. Within the Senate, he serves as Chair of the Liaison Committee and as Vice Chair of the Procedure and Rules Committee. Previously, he served two terms as the Member of South Imenti Constituency.
