Hon. Eckomas Mwengi Mutuse is serving his first term as the Member of the National Assembly, having been elected in August 2022 to represent Kibwezi West Constituency under the Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC) banner. He was recently tapped as vice chair of the Justice & Legal Affairs Committee following revelations about IEBC legal fees. In October 2024, Hon. Mutuse made national headlines by tabling an impeachment motion against the Deputy President under Articles 145 and 150 of the Constitution.
