Highlighted on the need for CARA to be passed before 30th May and the disbursement schedule before 30th May to timely disbursement of funds to counties. Spoke in support of The Food and Feed Safety Control Co-Ordination Bill. Supported the Public Service (Values and Principles) (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bills No.46 of 2022). Spoke during the hearing of the impeachment of Deputy Governor of Kisii County. Sought a Statement from the Standing Committee on Labour and Social Welfare regarding the non-remittance of death and disability benefits to public service employees. Asked for the interrogation of the Controller of Budget to find out how it is possible that media houses can have this report and say that county X is leading in development, yet it is the Auditor-General who has to carry out that audit report. Called for a proper medium-term management debt strategy that allows Kenya to monitor its credit rating worldwide. Supported the Report on The Public Finance Management (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bills No.16 Of 2023) requiring that public debt to be considered by both Houses. Cost Of Electricity in The Country. Questioned the legality of the NG-CDF. Spoke on the need to construct stadiums. Supported the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) Report. Highlighted that the migration process from old NTSA system to E-Citizen was taking long hence inconveniencing motorist. Questioned how much of the processing fee on E-Citizen. Questioned the eagerness to pass a new Health Act or SHIF Fund while NHIF owed institutions money. Supported the Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Bill (Senate Bills No. 17 Of 2023). Provided amendments to The Conflict-of-Interest Bill (National Assembly Bills. Supported the amendment to the Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Act to deter the executive from disregarding summons to the House. Highlighted the issue of mining and its effect on the environment in Kilifi County. Raised the issue of government being granted leaseholds that eventually never return to the owners especially among the Kisii County. Supported the Equalization Appropriation Bill. Supported the Coffee Bill. Seconded the Motion on declaring banditry a national disaster. Emphasized the importance of completing projects without delays, ensuring fiscal discipline, and learning from successful initiatives to apply similar approaches to other stalled projects. Stressed the need for accountability, proper planning, and efficient execution of projects to provide better services to the citizens, urging a collective effort to improve the country's governance and development. Stressed the need to listen to the younger generation, noting their demands for accountability, transparency, and better opportunities. Emphasised his postion on the Conflict of Interests bill and underscored that it would promote corruption and make it harder for Kenyans to do business with the government.</p>
