On May 2nd 2007, MP Joseph Nyagah will put forth a motion to adjourn the House to discuss the Anglo Leasing and other associated irrevocable promissory notes with impending maturity dates as a matter of urgent national importance.
For those of you who have not been following the story, click here to get the full details.
Mars Group Kenya is working with several other civil society organisations to
drum up support for the motion because they believe that MPs have an opportunity to crack
open the Anglo Leasing scandal.
We will try and get an update of how the vote went after the session. In the meantime, if you are concerned about this issue please leave a comment on MP Nyagah's page and your MP's page and let them know that they should keep pushing the issue.
The Anglo-Leasing scandal is one that appropriately refuses to die and the noose can keep tightening if the MPs do their job.
